Mark your calendars for the Lake Erie Folk Fest in Euclid on Fri. Feb. 22 (school program and community dance) and Sat. Feb. 23 (workshops and evening concert).
The festival kicks off Friday morning with a school program featuring The Chardon Polka Band. Then, on Friday night, The Saints and Opossums with Kenny Wilson calling will play a contra dance. Doors open at noon Saturday, Feb. 23rd for a full day of workshops, concerts, jams and more. You'll find more than 30 events to attend, all for free!
After the workshops, enjoy dinner at an area restaurant or The Shore Cultural Centre's Bistro Cafe, then settle in for an exciting evening concert featuring Richie & Rosie – Americana; Jim Volk - Guitarist; Journeywork – Traditional Irish; Shri Kalaa Mandir – Classical Indian Music & Dance; and The Chardon Polka Band– duh, Polka!
